End Polio Now

On January 12, 2012, India had its first Polio-free year. I still sometimes can’t believe how privileged I was to get the opportunity to help eradicate Polio.  

It still makes me proud, and it still makes me smile. And it’s probably going to be like this for the rest of my life. 

I think this event stands as a testament to those who say young people can’t make a difference. Yes, we definitely did not do it alone; we had help from Rotarians, Interactors, and other organizations around the world, but nonetheless, we can proudly say we contributed to this massive movement to initiate change.

Congratulations Interact D5170! Let’s keep up the hard work this year!
